Birds are amazing creatures and have featured in art of all kinds for thousands of years. In this online class, join Alexa, a bird-lover, to learn about bird anatomy and how to create bird art of your own!

Using your choice of art materials, whether physical media or digital, you will be guided through basic bird anatomy, terminology, and then have the opportunity to work on drawings with live feedback from Alexa. You will leave the class with bird knowledge, fun facts, and 2-4 bird sketches.

Attendees will need reliable access to Zoom and drawing tools of their choice.

Alexa is a lifelong bird lover, thanks to her parents using a cassette tape of bird calls to put her to sleep as a baby. Since then she has made more art of birds than of anything else.
