Evergreen Secular Coalition (formerly Seattle Atheists)

This Meetup is sponsored by the Evergreen Secular Coalition (formerly known as the Seattle Atheists), a charitable corporation dedicated to developing, promoting, and fostering fellowship and community for non-believers of all strips - atheists, agnostics, non-theists, freethinkers, scientific skeptics, secular humanists, and any other godless label people might prefer.
We host and provide support for regional groups through the PNW including

• Seattle Atheists (for Seattle-area events),
• Cedar River Secular Society (for Renton/South Seattle-area events), and
• Seattle Skeptics and Science Enthusiasts (https://www.meetup.com/seattleskeptics/).

Reach out if you want to host events in your area or bring your existing group into the coalition.
Some Rules and Guidelines:

• People of faith are always welcome but proselytizing and disrespectful debate is not. Please do not try to convert us.
• We welcome all types of identities and aspire to be a safe place for traditionally marginalized groups. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, body shaming, and other forms of discriminatory conduct will not be tolerated.
• Be respectful. Conversation can lead to disagreement and disagreement is important. However, ad hominem attacks, aggressiveness, and otherwise disrespectful conduct is not welcome. You will be asked to leave and banned.
