Trip to Angel Island - Hike to Mt. Livermore + Picnic

Spend the day at lovely Angel Island!

We'll catch the Angel Island ferry from the Ferry Building in San Francisco. After a short bathroom break, we'll start our hike up to Mt. Livermore: this is a moderate hike with superlative 360 degree views of Marin County, Golden Gate Bridge, SF, Bay Bridge, and the North and East Bays. After we're done with the hike, we'll have an informal picnic by the water.

Schedule

9:20 AM: Depart SF Ferry Building

9:50 AM: Arrive at Angel Island

~10:15 AM: Start hike

~1:00 : Picnic near the water

3:00 PM: Depart Angel Island

3:30 PM: Arrive at SF Ferry Building

You're also welcome to take the Tiburon-Angel Island Ferry; we'll wait for the ferry that arrives at 10:15 AM before starting the hike.
