About us
We are dedicated to supporting the developing of individuals and community building through a variety of performing arts. We will host workshops that are open to all regardless of background; whether you’re experienced or have never tried it but just want to get out of your comfort zone, you have a home here. Need support with public speaking, social anxiety, an upcoming job interview, or maybe you just want to get out and meet some new folks? Come join us!
Note: This is an experimental branch of getting the word out about our events. Don't take the "attendees" numbers as representative of attendance as most of our folks don't use Meetup regularly. Typical events have between 6 and 14 attendees.
Also Note: We've started adding additional events that are not directly sponsored by us but are ways to get the word out about other local opportunities. If it's not an "Everyday" event and you have questions, follow up with the organization mentioned in the event!

Everyday Game Design Workshop
Location not specified yetIn coordination with the awesome humans at the Civic Theater, we are offering workshops every Monday at MatchBOX. We’ll have improv workshops every other week, and a variety of other performance arts in-between!
Games are a way to play with ideas, tell stories, and create something with other people. In this workshop, we’ll look at some of the basics behind how games work, then use a few simple building blocks to design mini-games of our own. We’ll experiment, make choices, and see what happens when an idea turns into something other people can actually play.

Professional wrestling is as much about performance as it is about what happens in the ring. In this workshop, we’ll explore the characters, improvisation, promos, and storytelling that help turn a match into something an audience can really invest in. We’ll look at how wrestlers build a connection with the crowd and use larger-than-life personalities to bring a story to life.
