Everyday Game Design Workshop

In coordination with the awesome humans at the Civic Theater, we are offering workshops every Monday at MatchBOX. We’ll have improv workshops every other week, and a variety of other performance arts in-between!

Games are a way to play with ideas, tell stories, and create something with other people. In this workshop, we’ll look at some of the basics behind how games work, then use a few simple building blocks to design mini-games of our own. We’ll experiment, make choices, and see what happens when an idea turns into something other people can actually play.
