About us

Hi and welcome to Exeter Socials! The social meetup for all ages and for anybody wanting to meet and make friends and enhance their social lives.

We host a wide range of events all year round including evening and daytime socialising, dining out, film and theatre, comedy and live shows, concerts and festivals, singing and dancing, walks, exhibitions, card and games nights, badminton, scrabble, food fairs, exercise and keep fit, inspirational talks and discussion evenings, murder mystery evenings, coffees and chats, picnics, pub quizzes and more..

If you can't see anything for you but have some ideas, please feel free to contact the organisers who will be more than happy to host an event for you or become an organiser yourself.

If joining a new social group seems daunting don't worry, you'll always be made to feel welcome and comfortable, bring along a friend if it helps. It's a relaxed group and home to a wide range of personalities and interests. Most events are free, but we do ask active members to pay £5 a year to help towards group running costs..

We're bringing MWM to EXETER, with a special introductory ticket price for this first time.

This event has been specifically developed to provide a very different kind of experience for people who are looking for authentic connection.

We will explore how to meet each other more authentically, in a supportive environment.
The day has been carefully structured to help this happen with fun and creative exercises to open and relax you. There will also be conversation and movement.

The day is facilitated by Bethan Evans. Everything on the day is an invitation.
It's a great opportunity to enjoy, explore, laugh, expand and maybe risk, being a little (or a lot!) more intimate and human and alive.

FAQs
- What's the age range?
The age range is 30 - 70 and most people are in their late 30s, 40s or 50s.

- What is a standby ticket?
These tickets are half price as your place isn't guaranteed. There's more information on the booking page.

- How much is it?
The full price for the one day workshop is £56 but you can book a standby place for £28 if you don't mind waiting till the last minute to find out if you have a place.

Meetings without Masks is sometimes called Naked Dating. Don't worry, you don't take your clothes off. It is about being naked with your clothes on, in other words, being authentic, transparent, not needing to hide who you are. We look forward to seeing you there.
