## Riding The Waves | A Deeper Dive In To 5Rhythms | Louise La Terra | Neil Pinnock
## An afternoon 5Rhythms experience
Dancing the 5Rhythms is a journey into the deeper self. A meditation in movement, a discovery of how it is to listen to the body and to feel and shape what we find there. The dance holds an invitation for the dancer to transform and create, to let go and liberate, to heal and be whole. The dance calls us home.
If you feel the call to dance the 5Rhythms then it can become a practice, an investigation into the deeper wisdom contained in the body. The more we explore the territory, the more real we become.
“A practice is not about being good. It’s about being real.” Gabrielle Roth
Neil and Louise are a dynamic duo, between them they have over 30 years of 5Rhythms dance experience and 19 years of teaching wisdom to share. They bring an opportunity to discover the 5Rhythms form, explore and expand your practice and find the freedom within yourself.
Come and join us for this afternoon of 5Rhythms dance.
We will dance through two Waves: Flowing - Staccato - Chaos - Lyrical - Stillness - have time for asking questions as well as for socialising with the community.
All bodies and abilities welcome

As a teacher I offer tenderness, healing,

About 5Rhythms
Created by Gabrielle Roth and practiced by tens of thousands worldwide, 5Rhythms® is a philosophy, perspective, performance art and a dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. Movement is both the medicine and the metaphor, reaching across all languages, cultures and age groups to transform suffering into art, art into awareness, and awareness into action. Wherever the 5Rhythms are practiced, a community is born to dance, to sweat, to change, to support, and to provide a safe space for each of us to relinquish the ego's hold and awaken the juicy, unpredictable, fascinating, edge-walking, wild part of ourselves that yearns to be free.
Creativity. Connection. Community
‘The 5Rhythms community is unbound by history, culture, race, religion, gender or politics. We are bound by the beat, following our feet on a dancing path to freedom. We are beat-driven, service-orientated, heart-based individuals who come together to embrace our longings. The measure of a community is its respect for the wisdom of its elders, the innocence of its children, the passion of its artists and the hope of its healers’ Gabrielle Roth
