Excited to continue our streak of deep conversations in the Existential Explorations series.
This time, our theme is Time — A Deep Dive into the Mysteries of the Present Moment: What is Now in its true essence?
Time has always been an incredibly mysterious element.
Externally, it’s just another coordinate — “let’s meet at this place, at this time.”
But experientially, time is one of the most difficult and slippery dimensions to truly grasp.
Spiritual traditions often tell us that “right now is all we have.” That everything that has ever happened — in our own lives or in the vast story of the universe — exists only as residues and memories, within this present moment. That all that’s happening, in its truest sense, is happening right now.
But what do we really have in this very moment?
“Live in the moment” is an easy slogan. Yet with a future we keep trying to carefully shape and a past that insists on shaping us, where is the present that's slipping away so fast?
What power do we actually have over the now? Which parts of it are fixed, and which parts are malleable?
And what about the timeless — the parts of us, or of existence itself, that seem to remain untouched by time? Can we touch what lies outside of time?
Interestingly, our ordinary sense of time feels linear: past leading to present, present leading to future — as if things gradually get better, worse, or resolved.
But experience is rarely linear. Profound things has happened in an instant.
A single moment, a word, a glance, a realization — changes everything.
In a single moment, a flower opens, the sun rises, and a Buddha attains enlightenment.
So, what powers does this very moment now hold?
As always, this will be a small, intimate gathering—a chance to stare into the abyss together one more time and create a space for real conversation and acceptance.
