CANCELLED: Woman on the Edge of Time

Apologies again - I don't want to cancel this event completely - I'm sure we'll be able to meet at some point - just not at the moment (still!) . I've re-scheduled for next year, but I do hope we can organise something in the meantime, even if it is the horribly-inadequate Zoom option.

I feel we are truly in apocalyptic times.

Sorry another postponement. I've got a new phone & pc so should be able to set something up electronically if we still can't do this in person.

Unfortunately I've decided to cancel this event. I've shifted the date well into the future for now.

New Coronavirus cases are too high so meeting in big groups, even in the open for a picnic, is way too dangerous.

So in the next few days I'll set up A Zoom meeting towards the end of August to discuss things.

So the best to everyone. I don't think we can do justice to Woman on the Edge of Time at the moment and after all the time that has elapsed but I'd like to reschedule it for a future date when things are clearer.

Following my cock-up not confirming the venue in February I am re-running the meetup on this very interesting and challenging book.

Please double-check the venue before the meeting as I am investigating other places to meet. The Orangery which is upstairs in the Prince of Wales Feathers is a good venue, but we're not always guaranteed it if a group pre-ordering a food buffet books the whole room. Holding the meeting in the main lounge downstairs is possible but a bit challenging to have a proper conversation.

If nothing changes on this website then please assume it is the Prince of Wales pub.
