Mt Margret Backcountry Backpack

I have 4 permits to do a loop at the Mt Margret Backcountry from July 25th to 27th. Permit cost is $15 per person. Recommend gas cost of $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.

Day 1 - Drive to S Coldwater TH and hike 8 miles and 3700 ft of elevation gain to Dome Camp.

Day 2 - Hike to the summit of Mt Margret, Bear Pass, Grizzly Lake, Boot Lake, Obscurity Lake and Panhandle Lake, camp at Shovel Lake. About 9 miles and 3000 ft of elevation gain.

Day 3 - Hike to Snow Lake, then Lakes Trail and Coldwater Trail back to the car. About 10 miles and 2600 ft of elevation gain.

The entire loop is 27 miles and about 9300 feet of elevation gain. If I haven't met you before and you're interested to join, please consider joining one of the day hikes I'll post for the coming weekends so that we can meet before spending some time in the backcountry.

We organize on Facebook/Facebook messenger, so you do not need to use Facebook, but you must be able to use Messenger. When you join a chat for an event, you will understand why.
