๐ฅ Screening: LEFT-HANDED GIRL by Shih-Ching Tsou on Sunday 14 December at 17:15.
๐ฌ LEFT-HANDED GIRL: After years of living in the countryside, single mother Shu-Fen has returned to Taipei with her two daughters, I-Ann and I-Jing. There, she tries to earn a living by working hard as the owner of a noodle stall. As if that weren't enough to worry about, the rebellious teenager I-Ann has dropped out of school, while five-year-old I-Jing has a completely different problem. She is left-handed, which her grandfather disapproves of, calling it โthe hand of the devilโ. From this, she concludes that she is not responsible for what her left hand does. That conclusion does not remain without consequences.
