Sorda (Deaf) is a gripping and boundary-pushing Spanish drama that lets you experience just how different — and intense — the world can be without sound. How do you build a relationship and a family when you can’t rely on communication that others take for granted?

Ángela (Miriam Garlo) and Hector (Álvaro Cervantes) are in love, happy, and ready to welcome their first child. But after the birth, the balance shifts. Their love and parenthood are put to the test as Ángela, who is deaf, faces a society that constantly excludes her. While Hector navigates the world of the hearing, Ángela must fight for her voice, her place, and her own way of loving.
