Moving to another country can be exciting, challenging, surprising — and sometimes lonely.
This is a community for expats, immigrants, international students, newcomers, and locals who enjoy meeting people from around the world.
We meet to connect, make friends, exchange experiences, and talk openly about what life abroad is really like.
Our online conversations may explore questions such as: Why did you move abroad? Was it worth it? What surprised you? What have been your biggest challenges? How easy has it been to make friends and build relationships? Do you feel at home in your new country? Would you stay, return home, or move somewhere else?
We’ll also organize in-person social events, walks, city discoveries, photography events and occasional trips.
You don't need to have the perfect expat story. Come share your experience, hear how others are building their lives abroad, meet interesting people, and hopefully make some new friends.
Wherever you're from and wherever you live now, you're welcome.
Locals are very welcome too. If you're French and interested in meeting expats and internationals, discovering different cultures, exchanging perspectives, making international friends, or simply helping newcomers feel at home in France, we'd love to have you with us.
