SPEAK & SIP: Language Exchange (Park Edition) 🌳🍷

Our next language exchange is going outdoors! This time we’ll meet in the park for a relaxed evening of conversation, games, and good company.

Just like before, we’ll keep separate zones for each language so everyone can practice in a focused way: 1 hour of conversation + 1 hour of games.

This time we’re planning English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and French.

👉 Practical Info

• Please bring something to sit on.
• Bring your own snacks and drinks — nothing will be provided at the venue.
• Most importantly: bring your good mood and willingness to chat!

To make it work smoothly, we’re looking for volunteer hosts for each language. A host’s role is simple:

• Animate the conversation using cards and prompts (all prepared in advance).
• Encourage simple language games (instructions provided).
• Help keep the group active and welcoming.

You don’t need teaching experience — just the energy to guide a conversation and make people feel included. In the future, when we introduce a small participation fee, it will be shared among hosts and organizers. For now, it’s a great way to practice leadership, connect with people, and test if you enjoy hosting.

We aim for 1–2 hosts per language so we can split bigger groups if needed and make sure everyone gets plenty of speaking time. If you’d like to become a host for the next Speak & Sip: Language Exchange, please send a message in this WhatsApp group.
