What we’re about
If there was one thing I would like to do on weekends it would be to get away from the city and explore Victoria's regional towns and national parks. If that interests you too then I'm glad you're here - adventures are usually better when they are shared with fellow travellers.
My vision for this group is:
- To have plenty of people actively engaging in our community and I will listen to what adventures people dream of having
- I will organise a meetup event (usually on Saturday mornings) and book a bus
- Enough people will buy the tickets to cover the cost of the bus
- We will have lots of adventures, make good-friends and open our minds to what's out there!
This is a new group so we don't have enough members to do this yet. However for the time-being I will plan meet-and-greets in Melbourne so people can get together and plan their own adventures and we will carpool!
We can visit national parks, pubs and restaurants, walking trails, galleries and festivals. We can even plan camping trips and multi-day adventures.
So if you want to have weekend getaways in regional Victoria as part of an adventure-seeking community then join this group and attend one of our events!

My vision for this group is to create a Discord community and we can plan events ahead of time and book a bus or organise to car-pool. But while this group is new the best thing to do is just meet up, bring your car and plan what we want to do. I know it's not ideal but it's the only way to get started.
For example we could meet up for breakfast at the Boathouse and look at a map and say.... "boy I would love to go mountain-biking in the high-country" or "boy I would love to visit a winery in Yarra Valley" or "I would love to go surfing in Torquay"... and then we actually just decide and go and do it.
