Welcome to the Pennypack Environmental Center Meetup group! Our mission is to bring together eco-conscious individuals who are passionate about parks and recreation, sustainable mobility, environmental education, and activism. Whether you're interested in learning more about nature, participating in outdoor activities, or getting involved in environmental conservation efforts, this is the perfect group for you. Join us for hikes, workshops, clean-up events, and more as we come together to protect and preserve the beautiful natural spaces of Pennypack Park and beyond. Let's work together to make a positive impact on our environment!

Beginner Crochet Night
M May 20 at 6 p.m.Please bring hooks & yarn. We will also have a limited amount to borrow. No experience necessary. Learn how to start a chain, a single crochet, and a double crochet, how to count stiches, and start a beginner level pattern. Teens & Adults. $5 Cash Per Person at Check-in.

Most Crochet Nights follow Nature Book Club which begins at 4 p.m. at the Center. Everyone is welcome to join.Parking is available at the center with additional street parking.
The center, bathrooms, and picnic areas are all accessible, however, the trails are rocky and uneven.Photos will be taken of participants during this program for use by the Pennypack Environmental Center and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation.
