This group is focused on in person activities such as discovering theatrical happenings, savoring cultural events, visiting museums and exploring various neighborhoods in the NYC area with an occasional foray upstate. Bonus if you love good pizza or the water!
Who should join this group: Anyone in the NYC area who wants to experience it. Enthusiastic individual who strive to enjoy activities be they high minded like seeing an exhibit at the Met, or middle brow, like perhaps bowling.
There are no dues.

This is a scouting hike to plan a full scale meetup, most likely from Bronxville to Arthur Avenue via the Bronx River Greenway.
This means I'm not sure of the route or of what restrooms are available. If that concerns you, then wait for the later meetup which will incorporate what we learn from this walk.
- Saturday, meet by the Grand Central clock at 10 AM
- We board the 10:17 AM Harlem Line towards Crestwood (train #9321)
- Arrive at Bronxville at 10:57 AM
Wear good shoes, bring water, snacks, toilet paper maybe. Aside from the train station and coffee shops, I have no idea about bathrooms. Documenting facilities is part of the agenda.
Please note that I am not a professionally trained tour guide, hiking expert, or certified outdoor leader. I am simply an organizer facilitating a shared walking experience through public spaces. By participating in this hike, you acknowledge and agree that:
