2025 Ferragosto Festival

Details
Let’s spend the afternoon together at the Ferragosto Festival on Arthur Avenue! This annual celebration brings Italian culture to life with delicious food, live music, street performers, and a festive community atmosphere in the Bronx’s Little Italy.
We will meet at 11:55 AM at Grand Central Terminal by the clock (facing the escalators) to catch the 12:17 PM Metro-North Harlem Line train to the Tremont Avenue station. From there, we’ll head straight into the heart of the festival.
Below is the 2025 entertainment schedule on the main stage (East 186th St between Arthur Ave and Hughes Ave):
12:00 PM – Opening Remarks by Alyssa Tucker, Executive Director of the Belmont BID
– Italian National Anthem performed by Vanessa Racci
– American National Anthem performed by Nick Vero
12:15 – 12:45 PM – Nick Vero
12:45 – 4:45 PM – Department of Fools (performing along festival route)
1:00 – 2:15 PM – Vanessa Racci
2:30 – 4:15 PM – RockSteady
4:30 – 6:00 PM – Gian Faraone
We’ll have about four hours to enjoy the festival, so we can sample food, explore vendors, and catch whichever performances interest us. With an open agenda, we’ll keep it flexible — we may stick together or split up into smaller groups to experience different parts of the festival.
When we’re ready to head back, we’ll probably take the subway from the West Farms station.
Come hungry, wear comfortable shoes, and get ready for an afternoon of Italian food, music, and fun!
Attendees who cannot meet at Grand Central, we will walk by D'Auria-Murphy Triangle at 1 PM by the bust of Columbus. This is the northwest corner, by Crescent Avenue, 184th Street and Arthur Avenue.
