Welcome to the Expressive Art Collective!

People of all levels of experience in the arts are welcome. This group is for exploring your process, nurturing your creative flow and inspiration, processing your experiences through artistic expression, and being open to meeting and connecting with new people. Bring your own supplies and a willingness to play.

The events are typically casual: a great place to meet friends and/or talk about inspiration, process, technique or whatever else you find of interest.
This group is meant to allow creative people to come together, share their interests and curiosities, and spend time together.

This therapeutic group is ideal for people looking to explore their felt sense, emotions and sensations, conscious and unconscious material, manifest and latent dream content and ineffable experiences. The process of exploration will include mindful physical movement and focus on sensory awareness and interaction with the environment through art supplies. Participants will be invited to check in verbally at the beginning and have an opportunity to share about their process at the end, if they wish.
Best art supplies for this group are easily manageable in size and require little set-up or clean-up. Paper, graphite, ink, watercolors, pressed charcoal, markers, pens, stamps and collage materials are great options.
Since this group focuses on process rather than product, the use of art supplies is not required. Writing, dancing/moving and composing are equally viable expressive art options.
This is a FREE, 2-hour, open group (new members may join). Frequency and number of meetings depend on interest.
You will be asked to sign consent paperwork before participating in the group. I am a Professional Counselor Associate in Oregon (jeanettesmall.com) and a Licensed Psilocybin Facilitator in Oregon (lucidcradle.com).
