We are a non-violent direct action organization committed to preventing the sixth mass extinction through colorful, joyous disruption. Governments around the world are failing to address the Climate and Ecological Emergency. People power is the solution. Valentine's Day Breakup Party, JP Morgan Chase, Jamaica Plain
Chase Bank, 701 Centre St, Boston, MA, USThis Valentine’s Day, in the name of all we love, we are breaking up with the toxic banks who have set our world on a course of destruction, telling them to Stop Melting the Wrong ICE!
Citizens Bank is the major funder of I.C.E. private prisons. JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America are the two major investors in fossil fuels and both broke their climate commitments just before Trump’s second inauguration.
We will be holding two events simultaneously, one in Harvard Square and one in Jamaica Plain.
In Jamaica Plain we will meet at JP Morgan Chase Bank at 11:30am with custom heart shaped signs and live music to read our bank breakup letters and then march down to the street to call out each toxic bank.Please RSVP HERE and invite your friends, neighbors and family to join.

Non-Violent Direct Action Training - Wed, Feb 17

Learn how to take part in XR actions at this non-violent direct action training! This training is for people who are interested in potentially doing civil disobedience as well as people who want to play support roles for our actions. You will learn how to engage in non-violent civil disobedience. We will cover some theory behind direct actions, discuss the logistics of arrest and potential legal implications, and talk about the many different roles (beyond risking arrest) that are crucial to successful actions.

You will get to talk to a few people who have gone through the arrest process and ask questions you might have. We recommend that you attend an XR Welcome Call before you attend our NVDA training. We recommend this training because understanding more about XR's theory of change and organizing principles will help you figure out how you'd like to be involved.

In our Heading for Extinction Talk, we share the science, explore how governments and corporations are lying to us, and invite you to join the movement and help turn the tide. Humanity needs you!
The talk will begin at 2:30pm.
The talk is interactive and lasts approximately 1 hour. There will be time for questions and discussion during and afterwards.
