Welcome to Lions Heart Relationship and Meditation Skills Practice Group. This is a group to help you learn and practice emotional regulation, effective communication, relationship building and meditation skills.
This is for anyone who wishes to learn and practice communication, emotional regulation and meditation skills to enhance their quality of connection with friends, family coworkers and themselves.

Meditation Tools and techniques presented
Hardwiring Happiness, Dzogchen, Vipassana, Shamatha, Tara Brach, Thich Nhat Hanh, Adyashanti, Dialectical Behavioral Skills, Pema Chodron and Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche and others.

Relationship Skills and techniques presented from:
David Burns effective communication model, Gottman method, Dialectical Behavioral Skills, Systems Approach, affect regulation, 365 degrees of view, and others

Meetings will be one hour and 15 minutes
Led by a licensed therapist but focused on skill building not group therapy.

Format:
5 minutes Brief Meditation and Arrive
10-20 minutes brief checkin
15 minutes guided meditation
30 minutes skill building instruction and practice
There will be a cost of $40 for each meeting, but there is no charge for your first meeting.

All we ask is you be kind, respectful, and do not engage in cross talk during the checkins. This to enhance the safety and comfort of all.
