What we’re about:
We’re a friendly group of mostly singles over 50 who enjoy getting together for all kinds of fun activities: happy hour, dining out, potlucks, barbecue, picnic, live music, dancing, sports events, superbowl party, hiking, opera, ballet, symphony, museum, movie night. etc. etc.
Don’t see an activity/event you like? Feel free to suggest something.
Although we are not a single’s group, some of our members have dated and a few have even gotten married.
We do require a face recognizable profile picture (No Sunglasses), preferably portrait style so our organizers can easily recognize you at our events.
No Show Policy: if you RSVP that you are planning an event, it means you are certain you can and will attend. This is especially important if the event involves restaurant reservations. We understand that sometimes things come up and ask that you at least give 48 hours notice since most of our events have a waitlist.
Please do not message the organizer that you are unable to attend an event. You must change your RSVP so that the next member in line automatically gets moved to the “Going” list. Organizers will not change the RSVP for you as it is not their job to do so.
No Shows may result in being removed from this group at the organizer’s discretion.
Main focus of this group is to build community, find and create real authentic friendships. If you enjoy life, like to socialize and have fun, we would love for you to join us.
