What we’re about
This is a group for folks who want to get out and do interesting things in small groups. Building friendships and community.
It’s fully inclusive and all ages are welcome, but I want to give a special heads up for those of us over 50 who are looking to add more spice and connection into our lives.
Some of the events I’ll be hosting include jazz and reggae shows at The Blue Note and Waikiki Shell; Poetry Slams, Speakeasy experiences, Whale Watching & Swimming with Wild Dolphins, Snorkeling, the occasional dinner or brunch at special restaurants, picnics in the park, outdoor concerts of every variety, volunteering experiences, the Planetarium, horseback riding, roller skating(?)…..
You get the idea.
I also encourage anyone interested in hosting an event to let me know. Multiple hosts make for a bigger variety of experiences offered.
Most of the events will be for small groups, up to 10 people, so it’s more comfortable and easier to connect with others.

Thanks!The Honolulu Academy of Art has a wonderful outdoor cafe and offers brunch on Sundays. The courtyard ambiance is really nice and the food is healthful and delicious.
HOMA hosts a Community Day on the third Sunday of every month for kama'aina. So after brunch those who're interested can explore the current exhibits free of charge (instead of paying the usual $15 entrance fee)!

$5 for up to five hours. Free if you have a handicap placard. I think Sundays might actually be free but not sure.
