What we’re about
Fabulous Friendships is run by its members, it started in September 2011 by a group of friends that wanted to find ways to keep in touch and attend meaningful events together. We have learned how important it is to have strong connections with like minded women. We have the opportunity to participate in many activities throughout the week and on weekends. We enjoy hiking, walking, snowshoeing, dinners, theater, movies, open houses, book discussions, speakers, weekend travel and world wide travel and are open to new suggestions for fun, interesting things to do!
Our membership is primarily women that have grown children, or single, who are finding it is now time to find ways to nurture ourselves and enjoy doing things with women that are interested in keeping healthy and happy.
If you are interested in joining our group, membership is easy! Once you have requested to join. watch for an email reply to the request. We want to be sure you do wish to start treating yourself to actives, friendships and support thru a great group of ladies.
Membership fees are 12.00 per year, payable every September to keep accounting simple. After September the fees are reduced by one dollar each month (eg: join in January and it is 8.00 and then 12.00 the following September) I do collect the fee before the request is approved. We use these fees to cover web site costs as well as subsidize costs of some events. We also decide as a group what to do with excess money, this year we donated to Sherriff King House, WINS and to Veterans food bank .
