Kalaya is one of the best restaurants in Philadelphia, hands down. It was the WINNER OF THE 2023 Best Chef Mid-Atlantic JAMES BEARD AWARD!

Chef Nok Suntaranon’s fiery Thai dishes are unlike anything else available in the city—and they’re completely addictive. A bottle of Riesling with a little sweetness will carry you through a very spicy meal of fried fish cakes, laab ped (duck salad), rich southern-style chicken curry, and stir-fried noodles.

This is no longer a BYOB event. You can order drinks at the restaurant or bring a bottle and pay the corkage fee. We will get appetizers for the table and everyone can order their own dinner. The bill will be split between everyone. Please bring cash.

I was able to reserve a table for 6 The restaurant requires $40 per person to hold the reservation so we are requiring $40 to register for this event. The $40 will be applied to the check. I am able to adjust the reservation up to 24 hours before so RSVPs will close 2 days before the event.

• If you change your RSVP to a no before it closes, your deposit will be returned to you.
• If you notify me after the RSVP closes and someone else takes your place or it is more than 24 hours before and I am able to edit the reservation, your deposit will be returned to you.
• If you cancel within 24 hours of the dinner and I am unable to edit the reservation, no one takes your place and I am unable to get the restaurant to refund the deposit that held your place, your deposit will be applied to the dinner.

Because of the limited seating, the event will be limited to group members.

They share a parking lot with Suraya. The lot is located at the corner of Front St. and Oxford St. The price is $15 per car during dinner.
