Lace up your sneakers, Fabulous Philly Friends, because we're hitting the iconic Atlantic City Boardwalk for an invigorating hike and a legendary breakfast! Get ready for stunning ocean views, fresh sea air, and delicious eats as we conquer the boards.

A fantastic breakfast at the legendary Gilchrist Restaurant, known for its delicious food and bustling atmosphere. This is the perfect blend of fitness, friendship, and fantastic food – a true escape from the ordinary!

What's the Plan?
We'll meet bright and early at 3101 Boardwalk (more details below) and embark on a scenic 3.3-mile (approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes) walk all the way to the end of the boardwalk near Gardner's Basin. This picturesque stroll will offer incredible ocean vistas and a chance to truly soak in the unique charm of Atlantic City.

Once we reach Gardner's Basin, we'll put our name in at the renowned Gilchrist Restaurant. While we wait for our table, we'll take some time to explore the charming Gardner's Basin area, enjoying the sights of the boats, the sea life, and maybe even a few quirky shops. After a satisfying breakfast, we'll make our way back along the boardwalk, feeling refreshed and re-energized!

The Deets:

Meeting Point: We will meet on the boardwalk in front of the Ocean Club Condominium, between Chelsea and Montpelier. The building is pictured on this listing. For easy navigation, the exact address is 3101 Boardwalk (very close to the former Atlantic Club Casino).
Time: We will be leaving at 9 AM sharp, so plan to arrive a little before.
Hike Distance: Approximately 3.3 miles one way (6.6 miles round trip)
Hike Duration: Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes one way (with the option to take the Jitney on the return if you do not want to walk back with the group).
Breakfast Spot: Gilchrist Restaurant at Gardner's Basin
What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, water, sunscreen, a hat/sunglasses, and your appetite!
Cost: The cost of breakfast at Gilchrist. Please bring cash for easier bill-splitting.
Parking: There are various parking garages and lots available in Atlantic City near our starting point. There are two nearby motels with cheap parking. The Martinique Hotel has two lots. One is at 6. S. Chelsea Ave and the other is 3029 Pacific Ave. The Econolodge is 3001 Pacific Ave. These are no more than 2 blocks away.
