It’s time to celebrate the incredible talent within our own community! One of our very own members, the gifted Jeffrey Forman, is hosting a solo sculpture exhibition, and we are heading to The Plastic Club to show our support and enjoy an afternoon of high-level artistry.

What's the Plan?
We’ll be gathering at the historic Plastic Club in Center City to admire Jeffrey’s stunning bronze work. If you’ve seen the event flyer, you know his sculptures capture the human form with incredible grace and strength. This is a classic "Fabulous Philly" outing: stimulating conversation, a touch of culture, and the chance to cheer on a fellow professional and friend.

When:
Sunday, April 26th, 2026 The reception runs from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. I will be there starting at 1:30 PM to congregate our group!

Where:
The Plastic Club 247 S Camac St, Philadelphia, PA 19107. (Camac Street is one of Philly’s charming "little streets"—look for the historic clubhouse!)

The Deets:

  • The Vibe: Sophisticated yet relaxed. We’ll browse the gallery, chat with Jeffrey about his process, and mingle with other art lovers.
  • Cost: The reception is free to attend!
  • After-Event: For those interested, we can walk to a nearby spot for a post-gallery "Happy Hour" or coffee to discuss the pieces we saw.
  • Parking: Being in Center City/Washington Square West, street parking can be tricky. I highly recommend using a parking app (like SpotHero), taking a ride-share, or using SEPTA (the Broad Street Line Walnut-Locust stop is very close).
  • Support: Let’s show Jeffrey the strength of our community! Even if you can only stop by for 30 minutes, your presence means a lot.

Why You Should Be There:

  • Celebrate Talent: Support a fellow "Fabulous Philly Friend" in his professional element.
  • Cultural Immersion: The Plastic Club is one of the oldest art clubs in the village—it's a hidden Philly gem.
  • Connect: It’s a low-pressure environment to catch up with old friends and welcome new members.

I’ll post a specific "where to find us" message in the comments once I arrive at the gallery. Let’s make this a great turnout for Jeffrey!

About the Artist: Jeffrey Forman
To give you all a little more background on the talent we’re supporting, Jeffrey Forman is a masterful sculptor who specializes in capturing the human form with incredible depth and emotion.
Jeffrey works primarily in bronze, a medium that allows him to translate the fluidity of movement and the strength of the body into a permanent, tactile experience. As you can see from the event flyer, his work often features:

  • Classical Technique with a Modern Soul: His pieces reflect a deep understanding of anatomy, yet they feel contemporary and emotionally resonant.
  • Dynamic Poses: He has a unique ability to capture a "moment in time," making heavy bronze appear as light and graceful as a dancer mid-motion.
  • Textural Richness: Beyond just the shape, Jeffrey plays with the "patina" (the surface finish) of the bronze to create warmth and character that draws you in.

Jeffrey has been a dedicated member of the Philadelphia arts community for years, and his work is a testament to the "accomplished and diverse" spirit of our group. Whether you’re a seasoned art collector or just someone who appreciates a beautiful aesthetic, you’ll find his sculptures truly captivating.
He’ll be there in person to answer questions, so feel free to ask him about the "lost-wax" casting process or what inspired a particular pose!
