Get ready to transport your senses to the Mediterranean! Our next culinary adventure takes us to a true Philadelphia staple: Alyan’s Middle Eastern & Mediterranean. Tucked away just off South Street, Alyan’s has been serving up some of the most authentic flavors in the city for over 30 years. Whether you are a fan of their legendary fries or their perfectly seasoned kebabs, this is going to be a night of comfort food and great company.

Why You Should Join Us:
Alyan’s is the epitome of a "hidden gem" with a cozy, no-frills atmosphere that focuses entirely on the quality of the food. It’s the perfect setting for our group to dive into the rich tapestry of Middle Eastern cuisine. From their famous falafel and creamy hummus to their signature "Alyan's Fries" topped with beef and secret sauce, there is something to delight every palate. It’s a wonderful opportunity to break bread with fellow professionals in a relaxed, authentic environment.

What's The Plan?
We’ll be gathering at Alyan’s to enjoy a feast of Mediterranean specialties. This is all about the "zest for life" and sharing delicious plates while engaging in stimulating conversation. We’ll explore their diverse menu of platters, pitas, and grilled delights. You can check out their offerings here.

The Deets:

  • BYOB: Bring along your favorite bottle of wine or a refreshing six-pack to pair with the savory spices and grilled meats!
  • Cost: We will plan to order several appetizers for the table to share (you have to try the fries), and then everyone can select their own entree. Please anticipate the total cost to be approximately $30–$40 per person (including tax and a 20% tip). To keep things simple when the check arrives, please bring cash.
  • Allergies: If you have any specific dietary restrictions or allergies, please let me know as soon as you RSVP so I can coordinate with the kitchen.
  • Important: I will send a confirmation message a day or two before the dinner to finalize our headcount. If your plans change, please update your RSVP to "Not Going" promptly so someone from the waitlist can join the fun.
  • Parking: Alyan’s is located at 603 S. 4th Street. Being right off South Street, parking can be a challenge. There are several paid lots nearby, but street parking is limited. Ride-sharing or public transit is highly recommended.

Can't wait to share this Mediterranean feast with all of you!
