Get ready for an extraordinary, spine-tingling autumn day trip as we step back in time for a Halloween adventure in Doylestown! Join us for a fascinating behind-the-scenes exploration of concrete castles, historical artifacts, and local charm with your Fabulous Philly Friends.

Why You Should Join Us:
Fonthill Castle and the Mercer Museum offer one of the most visually stunning and unique cultural experiences in Pennsylvania. Built by eccentric archaeologist and ceramicist Henry Chapman Mercer, Fonthill Castle is an architectural masterpiece filled with hand-mixed concrete, eclectic tiles, and Gothic, medieval, and Byzantine touches. Afterward, we'll head over to the Mercer Museum—a massive castle-like structure packed with over 60 exhibits of early American everyday life, tools, and Americana. It's the ultimate way to spend Halloween immersed in history, architecture, and great company.

What's the Plan?
We'll kick off our day at 12:00 PM sharp at Fonthill Castle for our exclusive behind-the-scenes tour, which runs until 1:30 PM. From 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, we have a break in between! We can either tour the gorgeous surrounding castle grounds or take a leisurely stroll to explore downtown Doyelstown. At 3:00 PM, we'll reconvene at the Mercer Museum for our second tour, wrapping up around 5:00 PM.
(Note: For anyone joining us for the full evening, I will be posting a separate event for an optional BYOB dinner in Doyelstown afterward!)

• When: October 31st (Halloween!). Fonthill Castle tour is from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM; Mercer Museum tour is from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
• Where: Fonthill Castle (East Court Street & Swamp Road) and Mercer Museum (84 S. Pine Street) in Doyelstown, PA.
• Cost: $70 total for both museum experiences, paid in advance via Venmo (@Randee-Frankel) to secure your spot.
• Group Size: Strictly limited to 8 attendees.
• Parking: Parking is available on-site at both museum locations, with municipal lots and street parking options nearby.
