Fairfax County Pickup Soccer

This group is for Co-Ed pickup soccer and watch parties in the Fairfax County area - mostly Vienna, Tysons, Falls Church, Annandale, Fairfax, Centreville. We strongly prefer all members to be 18+ but will allow teens 15+ to play if they have an older sibling, parent or other relative also playing.

Please bring a white and dark shirt (not pink, yellow, grey or stripes). You must bring BOTH shirts to every scrimmage as that is how we mix up teams and keep them balanced throughout.

You are playing at your own risk and we are not liable for any injuries.

1. BE ON TIME, BE PREPARED - be considerate of everyone's time. We all want to play. Plan to be ready to play within 15 minutes after event start.
2. STAY ON YOUR FEET - no slide tackling, no intentional fouls. Anyone can call Foul during play. Be Honest about it.
3. BE RESPECTFUL - no profanity towards another player. Any escalation could result in you being kicked out of the game, and possible banning from the group. Violence will not be tolerated.

HOW WE PLAY:

• Small-sided games, no less than 6v6 when possible
• No corners, No throw-ins. Balls will be passed back into play
• Goal kicks: first pass is free. Stay on your toes
• After goals scored, ball is reset by the team that was scored against, (not the middle)
• When fouls are committed, ball possession goes to the offended team's keeper
• No Hands: this includes keepers. It's Football.
• Game water breaks will be called at the Organizer's discretion. If you need to step off the field to drink during play, go for it.

Please inform your guests of these group standards. If we have to ban more than one guest of yours, you will lose guest privileges.
