It's our first get-together! We're meeting inside Fairfax Coffee, which itself is located inside Fairfax Church, but don't be confused by that and we'll be easy to find - just go to where you see people right when you enter! You'll see board games and TVs with video games set up, and we won't be the only people there because it's a coffee shop, but the people playing games will be us! For the video games, there will at least be a Switch 2 if not also another console. For the board games, I'm not talking about Monopoly and Scrabble, I'm talking about stuff you can find on Board Game Geek (yeah, I know that EVERY board game is there and including those two, but hopefully you know what I mean that this will be a little more...lively), with some lighter, more party-like games too, and you can bring whatever games you want too! Don't worry, you can have absolutely no knowledge of anything we play and you'll be fine! (As long as I remember the rules, and you can make fun of me for "forgetting rules" that I bring up at the worst time that help me win - it's a joke I've made many times in the past while playing board games and I invite you to use it if I forget a rule too!)
The coffee by itself would make your trip worth it, and this is a place whose effort in making set-apart coffee is noticeable, but hopefully you'll stay for some games too! But hey, if all you do is get some coffee and decide that the games aren't for you, it won't have been a wasted trip! (Here's the website of the coffee shop we'll be meeting at: https://fairfax.coffee)
If you want to find me, just go to where people are playing games and ask for Chris! I hope to see you there!
(If you're wondering about the nonsensical picture, you don't need a picture to know what board games, video games, and coffee look like, but if you really want to see those, they're in the group's picture!)
