Let's Go Explore the Oak Glen Preserve Trails

This is a 1.8 mile loop considered an easy route. The preserve features ponds, a botanical garden, and the Children's Outdoor Discovery Center. The main trail takes 54 minutes to complete, but there are many other offshoot trails to explore. This would be a great family hike, so please bring the kids or grandkids. I'm bringing my grandchildren. Dogs on leashes are welcome, as well. No fee for parking or entrance. There are clean restrooms and port-a-potties, a country store with souvenirs, and a lovely outdoor BBQ place with tables to eat lunch following the hike. We will be meeting at the tables for lunch after the hike. So, splease plan in packing a lunch or you can buy lunch there. If you aren't able to stay for lunch, it's okay. Come anyway! 😊 We are going to have a lot of fun.
