Sturtevant Falls in the San Gabriel Mountains

Details
Grab some coffee and meet us for this 3.3 mile roundtrip hike is one of the finest in the Angeles National Forest as it follows a pristine creek . It is a downhill beginning and uphill return, with lush scenery, stream crossings and historic cabins along the way.
RATED MODERATE so know your limits- we hike leisurely , but cant leave you behind you must stay with the group. FYI-400 Ft elevation change. It is child and dog friendly (you decided who gets the leash...only kidding, but dogs need one) and they allow mountain bikes on the trail too. Not alot of shade.
Bring your 10 essentials . We will meet you at the trailhead at 8:30 a.m sharp. We will leave thereafter and assume we have no cell service to communicate with you.
* We will head out from Chantry Flats* . Please carpool if possible as I am not sure due to the waterfall's popularity parking maybe at a premium. The parking lot opens at 6am if you want to get even an earlier start to Arcadia. National Adventure Pass needed to park. Let me know if you have a Adventure Pass and can take people in a carpool.
*Off the 210 Freeway exit Santa Anita Ave going north for 5 miles to Chantry Flats Rd to parking lot*
