RESERVATIONS CLOSED-NO WAITING LIST
Explore 600 acres of mixed terrain(service road/dirt trail) and fingers crossed water will be at the Colombine Falls on our walk too.

Keep your binoculars ready to catch a glimpse of the spotted owl or flying squirrels the reserve is known for. Bring bug repellant, sturdy footware, your snacks, sunscreen and water. Dogs must be on leash.
NOTE# Their will be a camping group up in the meadow so they get the asphalt parking lot directly infront of the Columbine Park/Restrooms . The hikers parking lot ( us and another hiking group ) will park on the hard dirt across from the asphalt. AGAIN YOU NEED TO CARPOOL . As adults please reach out to your neighbors going. I suggest meeting and leaving your cars somewhere . You can use Wildwood Calvary Chapel
( 35145 Oak Glen Road/Bryant) . We leisurely hike so pacing is done. Recommend hiking boots since we may run into a rattler ya never know. Also lots of water as they is no water or restrooms once we start the hike.
Sorry the ranger just sent this notification we wont be alone up there. I have closed the reservations due to this fact. PLEASE WORK TOGETHER I KNOW I HAVE MY CARPOOL

**Bear Paw will close if there is flooding/mudslides. I will let you know if anything changes our admission on site.
BE CAREFUL on the Hwy 38 as you turn toward Forest Falls you make an immediate Right on a service road. Take driveway over milllcreek to the reserves gate. I'll let you in and then follow road to end of parking lot. Trailhead is next to parkinglot and will go too Columbine Falls and the trails "open" to us.
