Fake Internet Job @ Grounds Bakery & Cafe (Spring & Palo Verde)

Details
Hey you... yeah, you, in your pajamas (old sweats) at 1pm. How's working at home working out for you? Feeling distracted? Mildly productive? A little lonely maybe? Why not splash some water on your face, grab a clean shirt from your closet (clothes pile), and step into the daylight with a few like-minded locals?
HERE'S THE DEAL:
If you earn most of your paycheck on your laptop and work primarily from home or the local Starbucks, CONGRATS... you have what your friends and family secretly regard as a Fake Internet Job. Welcome to our community! Now it's time to leave the house for a couple of hours and meet other people like yourself. People who get it. People who will never ask you when you're getting a "real" job. There are more of us than you think, which is why 2019 marks our meetup's THIRD year!
REGULARS AND NEWCOMERS ALIKE:
Please join us on Wednesday from 10am-Noon. If you can't make it because you'll be at work, you probably don't have a Fake Internet Job. Fake Internet Jobbers make their own hours and - let's be honest - we're probably just waking up at 10am anyway!
No pressure. No agenda. Our meetups are just casual, social opportunities to meet fellow Fake Internet Jobbers over local coffee and worldly conversation!
THIS WEEK'S VENUE:
Grounds Bakery & Cafe (https://www.groundscafe.com/) was voted "Best Bagels in Long Beach" by Beachcomber readers for five years straight and "Favorite Bagel Shop" by Press-Telegram readers in 2015 and 2016. Their menu is well-rounded, with baked goodies, soups, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and more.
PARKING:
There's no shortage of free parking in this neighborhood shopping center, so bring all the cars you can manage.
Whether you're a Fake Internet Job regular or just curious to see what this group is all about, let us draw you out of your soul-smothering hermit hut for a couple of hours and invite you to join our community of fellow freelancers, remote workers, and entrepreneurs. We look forward to seeing you, and we hope to make this year an even bigger and better one for Fake Internet Jobbers in Long Beach!
SPONSOR:
Fake Internet Job is sponsored by Ironfire, which offers flexible work, meeting, and event space for people with both real and fake Internet jobs in and around Long Beach, California. WEBSITE: https://ironfire.co
