What we’re about
Like playing modern board or card games? This is the group for you!
Whether you’ve just tried Wingspan, regularly take a Ticket to Ride or are just looking for something a bit different than Clue, Monopoly or Risk, our meetups welcome all gamers. Join us online or in person at masks required and masks optional events!
At our in-person meetups you can play games across a wide selection of themes and interests; as a family, in a group or head to head. You can try one of this year’s nominees for the internationally recognized Games of the Year. Or join in playing many of the games from BoardGameGeek’s hot lists including casual/ family games and strategy games.
You can bring along a favourite game, or use the comments field to request a game you’d like to play. Another attendee may be able to bring and/or teach. Most of our events are presented by Game Hosts from our annual Convention FallCon ([www.Fallcon.com](http://www.fallcon.com)). Hosts can help match you with great games and find other players.
**Online games** are scheduled and posted in the Meetup page. RSVP to make sure the host knows how many people are coming. Alternatively, you can join our Discord group here and take a look in the game-night-announcements and looking-for-a-game in the Lobby to see if anyone is planning or playing games.
We welcome you to our inclusive gaming community!

1220 20 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2T 1M8In the quiet village of Ravenswood Bluff, a demon walks amongst you…
Blood on the Clocktower is a supernatural murder mystery social deduction game for between 8 to 20 players. Some will receive scraps of information. Others have abilities that fight evil or protect the innocent. But the demon and their evil minions will attempt to destroy the town, spreading lies, breeding suspicion, and sowing chaos. Will the good townsfolk put the puzzle together in time to execute the true demon and save themselves? Or will evil overrun this once peaceful village?
"There aren't many people signed up on meetup, should I bother coming?"
We have a sizable group of players that regularly attend our Monday games, but they don't always sign up on MeetUp. We're always able to play at least one game, so please feel welcome to join us!"I've never played this game before, can I join?"
Yes! There will be a rules explanation and a beginner friendly game. Blood on the Clocktower is an inclusive game that can accommodate players of all ability and skill levels."What should I do before attending my first game?"
- Brush up on the basic game rules with this great video from the Pandemonium Institute!
- Please read through our code of conduct!
"What makes this game stand apart from other social deduction games?"
- All players are in it for the entire game, staying on as influential ghosts even if their characters die! In Blood on the Clocktower, death is not the end.
- Every player has their own character, each with their own special ability. No two games are ever alike!
- Drunkenness, madness, and the odd poisoning are common. With these unique features you can never trust anyone completely, not even yourself.
- If you arrive late to a game, you can enter after it's started as a powerful Traveler character with unusual talents and questionable allegiances.
"Where can I find out more?"
