NoVA 30s Women Meetup Group

I created this group only one month ago and I’m happy to see so many women are also trying to expand their networks!! We are at 💯 ! Come out to meet and greet other ladies from the group!

Free Parking:

Parking is available in the RETAIL (spot marked as R) entrance of the Washington & Broad development. It is the second entrance to the garage when driving down Park Pl.

Another convenient place to park is in the Kaiser Permanente garage on Park Ave, right across the street from the restaurant. Weekdays after 5pm and weekends all day, the garage offers free parking on the top 2 floors.

Due to Columbus Day/Indigenous People’s Day being a federal holiday, some of us might be off work. If you are free, come out and join me for a cup of coffee at a Lebanese coffee shop with a tasty menu!

In addition, I will be collecting books for a local organization (the American Association of University Women) that will fund women college scholarships. I appreciate if you can bring some or one book for this great cause!! Thanks!

Types of books: Fiction (mystery, adventure, classics, fantasy etc) and nonfiction (biographies, autobiographies and memoirs, current political books). We accept children's books and cookbooks.

No textbooks, magazines, religion, philosophy, sociology.

Learn how to defend yourself with the fundamentals of karate! This is a 2 hour class for women and taught by a woman, to learn fundamental self-defense skills and the basics of Japanese martial arts, no experience required! 🥋

Please only RSVP if you are interested, available, and willing to pay for the class.

Cost: This workshop is only for this Meetup group so cost per person is dependent on the number of ladies that signup. The more that join, the less it will cost as the instructor charges per class. **Estimate cost is between $30-60 per person. **

Payment Process:

RSVP will be open until 10/11 at which point I will let everyone know the final amount, and request payment (Venmo or Zelle). Payment confirms your spot! If not enough people sign up and it’s >$60, then i will cancel the event. I will then send you a safety waiver from the instructor.

Take a break from your busy life to do a nature walk and enjoy the fall foliage with an expert guide. Meadowlark is a hidden gem so I highly encourage attending this walk to enjoy the pretty views away from normal stresses of life.
