Community Drum Circle | Downtown Chandler Library | First Sundays

Details
Join the fun at the original Chandler Community Drum Circle! No experience? No problem! Drumming’s not just beats—it's a way to connect without words through rhythm, to be in the moment, find healing, and let your mind dance.
Hand percussion instruments are available for those without their own instruments.
Welcomed instruments include Djembes, Bongos, Congas, Tablas, Tambourines, and other similar hand drums.
Organized by Bart Salzman, facilitated by the legendary Frank Thompson and co-facilitated by Tempo Temple’s Mike Fard.
This event is open to anyone ages 12 and up (under 12 must attend with a parent or guardian).
History:
Back in January 2012, the Chandler Drum Circle brought new life and rhythm to the Farmers' Market in Downtown Chandler. Bart Salzman, founder of the Chandler Jazz Festival and the visionary behind this event, rallied passionate musicians and volunteers of all ages who bring energy and vibrancy to each event.
Now, every first Sunday of the month, from 2-4 pm, the Copper Room South on the second floor of the Downtown Chandler Public Library comes alive with beats and laughter. Join us for this heartwarming blend of music, community, and fun!

Every 1st Sunday of the month
