Community Options Integrated Services, Inc. is California's First Adult Family Home Agency. We are in search of dedicated people interested in becoming certified home providers.

We want to talk to you if you have experience in providing support and services to persons with intellectual and development disabilities (special needs). All of our clients range from ages 18-65 years old and their needs vary from high functioning somewhat independent to those who require more assistance.

What do you need? Must have a spare bedroom, a safe, caring home, be willing to undergo criminal background check, experience in the field and the love for people with a developmental disability. You must be willing to have a person with a disability live in your home.

COIS Inc. recruits, trains, supports, monitors, and provides tax free exempted financial reimbursement to family home providers certified through our agency. All of our training sessions are provided at no charge to potential FHP.

While there are no guarantees one will become a FHP, if selected you can receive from $1350-$2150 a month. The amount of the stipend depends on the needs and support of the client you serve. We also provide respite care from 15-48 hours per month for each of our clients which is not deducted from your stipend. We properly match you with clients so everybody is happy. We want this to be our clients “forever homes”.
