Welcome to this foodie adventure! Fanatical Foodies is the longest running food group in the lower mainland started in 2012. We took a break and went to Facebook and now we are back home n meetup. This group is the most active food group on meetup. Don’t let a wait list deter you from signing up for events. Members often decide they are unable to attend due to other obligations two days before. Please note we are a small food community. I like to know my members rather than have a large list of unknown people who do not come or lurk behind a compute screen :)

PLEASE READ RSVP ETIQUETTE:
SHOW UP or change your RSVP to "NO" 48 hours before. Failure to do this you must find someone to fill your vacant spot or pay $50 for your missed meal. We do a lot of sharing meals and if you don’t show up others have to incur a higher fee for their meal.
This also includes if you are on the wait list for an event.
Be considerate, take yourself off the waitlist if you have made other plans.
If you get moved in from the waitlist you are responsible for showing up.
If you're new and you don't observe the above, you will be automatically removed from the group.
If I've met you before, you will receive a warning, if it happens again, you will be removed from the group.

PLEASE NOTE MEMBER DUES OF $25 ARE COLLECTED ANNUALLY IN CASH PER PERSON BY CHARNA.

Offensive/rude behavior at events, such as using the group solely to get a date/partner or trying to market your business will not be tolerated and you will be removed. If you meet someone and you click, then that's fine but if you have ulterior motives, you will be removed. This is a social group to meet friends, not to make profit.

Group is not suitable for vegetarians, vegans or people with food allergies and food intolerances.

My hosts and I are volunteering our free time. It is expected that you show up for the events that you sign up for.
