What we’re about
Fantasy & Sci Fi Book Club meets for a meal, camaraderie, and conversation. Typically we read one book each month. Our meetings consist of roughly 50/50 book specific discussion vs general socializing and conversation. Anyone who likes reading fantasy and sci fi is welcome!

Group guidelines:
- -Each meeting, folks who attend can nominate one book for the meeting 2 months out. (For example, at the January meeting we will nominate books for March; this gives folks time to get books thru the library system if they want.) Each nomination will be put in a bag and 3 will be randomly drawn for voting on our main group page.
- -Nominations should be a novel between 200-1000 pages. Graphic novels, novellas, and anthologies/collections are ineligible. Nominations should be stand-alones, first in series, or otherwise not require prior reading to understand/enjoy.
- -If you no-show twice, you will be removed from the group. Meeting size is limited to allow for everyone to have a chance to meaningfully contribute to the conversation and we usually need to make reservations at our locations. Please always be thoughtful of anyone on the waitlist and update your RSVP promptly if you signed up but end up not being able to come.
