A place for free thinkers - for Humanists in North East Hampshire and West Surrey around Farnham, Alton, Aldershot and Farnborough.
We're an active and friendly group and have monthly pub meetings and talks which are open to everyone. You don't have to join or become a member. We support the local community and have social events. Come and try us out!

"Known now as the father of Science Fiction, there is a great deal more to this influential literary figure.
His humble roots gave him a unique insight into the experience of the late nineteenth century working class. This set him apart from his socially elite literary circle. He was a complex man, as interesting people often are, with a liberal view of marital fidelity.
This talk will seek to explore the man beyond the Martian invasion!"

Tricia Wallis, English Literature teacher, will share her thoughts on William Blake’s poem “London” (1794) and how his vision of social deprivation, institutional decay and human misery resonates with our society today.
Lindsey Harris has taught Art History, and is now a Jungian psychoanalyst. She will examine Blake’s enigmatic Arlington Court picture, looking at the mythological content, underlying philosophy and archetypal theme of Odysseus’s return to Ithaca.
