What we’re about

“What is Feast for the Eyes?”
Put simply, it is a Dr. Demento-style DVD viewing party designed around a theme, assembled by me, The G Man.

“Theme? What theme?”
Every edition of Feast for the Eyes contains a variety of sketches, cartoons and TV episodes, based around a specific theme. Past themes have included school, sleep, American history, pets, drugs/addiction, love/marriage, exercise, the workplace, and the Beatles.

“Will I like it?”
Yes, if you’re a fan of classic cartoons, international animation, Monty Python and SNL. Those with wide tastes in entertainment will be very pleased.

“Is it free?”
Yes. I’ve paid thousands of dollars over the years collecting all this stuff and assembling it in my spare time so you can enjoy it. What a deal.

“How long is it?”
Each show is divided into three parts, with plenty of breaks in between. The total running time is typically around 3-4 hours. A perfect way to spend your Friday/Saturday evening.

“Is it kid-friendly?”
These events are mainly adult-oriented, but most of the first two parts are kid-friendly.

“Will there be refreshments?”
Popcorn and soft drinks will be provided; you can also bring snacks and/or non-alcoholic beverages to share.

“Why go all the way over to some little apartment when I can watch all this stuff online, like on YouTube?”
That's up to you, but I have always believed that YouTube is no substitute for the real thing, and watching this stuff with an audience is much more fun than watching it on some tiny screen alone. Besides, YouTube doesn’t have everything I have. So there.
