Monthly meeting of like minded individuals who learn from speakers and each other in open discussions. Guided by reason.
Red River Freethinkers started about 20 years ago and has met continuously since then. The term Freethinkers generally means one arrives at his/her views independently without being directed to do so by any religious or secular organization. Thus, our members hold a variety of views. The majority, however, would be considered skeptical of religious dogma.
Most of our monthly meetings include a speaker followed by lively discussion. We also have social potlucks. Most meetings we have visitors and they are always welcome.
