Brett has been developing software for 20 years. His experience includes helping to build scalable software capable of handling millions of transactions, building actuarial models and developing strong Agile teams. Special interests include Mathematics and artificial intelligence. He completed a BSC degree in Computer Science and Mathematics at Wits University. Apart from coding he enjoys playing Chess and am a wanna be guitarist.
In this talk he will be sharing some of my experiences as a blind developer and he will share some tips and guidelines should a blind person join your team. Some the topics we will be covering include: - White-board sessions - Pairing - Social integration - Picking up work - Mobilit.
