About the speaker
Over the past five years, Frikkie Snyman has been an integral member of the team building Relive. Since August 2022, Frikkie has embraced the role of Mobile Platform Engineer, immersing himself in the complex world of React Native.
This role necessitates a deep understanding and meticulous handling of React Native’s intricacies to ensure the highest level of performance, stability, and developer experience for the Relive app. His efforts are not only focused on application development but also on cultivating an environment and culture in which engineers can produce quality apps with confidence.

Front-end Development South Africa (FEDSA) is a registered non-profit organisation. They serve as an administrative umbrella for various types of projects that advance the sharing of knowledge between practitioners and aspiring practitioners within the industry.
We invite Front-end enthusiasts of any experience level to join us for the day. Attendees will form teams to work on various tasks and we will pair experienced developers with those of you who are here to learn.
You will also be sufficiently watered and fed, and prevalidated parking tickets will be supplied.
As this is a speciality event, spaces will be limited.
