AI isn’t just for the cloud anymore. With new browser APIs like WebGPU, MediaPipe Tasks, and TensorFlow.js, you can now run real-time computer vision and machine learning models directly in your browser — privately, securely, and blazingly fast.

In this live demo session, we’ll build a fun gesture-controlled web app from scratch using only HTML, JavaScript, and your webcam. We’ll explore how to switch TensorFlow.js backends to unlock GPU acceleration, how MediaPipe Tasks simplifies complex vision pipelines, and how to design delightful, privacy-preserving AI experiences — no backend required.
