Gambol, n. A playful skipping or frolicking about.

See Central Issaquah with Neighborhood Walking Ambassador Jeff Youngstrom!

We’ll walk through the area around Gilman Boulevard and take a look at the businesses in this growing commercial area. We’ll also get a peek at some lovely, tree-shaded streets. Natural highlights on the walk will include the fruit tree of the Gilman Edible Landscape Trail, and crossings of Issaquah Creek.

This leisurely walk will be about three miles long, and will take 1 and a half to 2 hours. The route is completely flat and is stroller and ADA accessible. Well behaved dogs and children welcome!

The walk starts and ends at the benches just north of the parking garage of the Issaquah Transit Center at 1050 17th Ave in Issaquah off SR900 between Maple and Newport. We’ll meet at 10 am sharp. There is ample free parking for cars and bikes in the Transit Center garage.
