Headwaters Conservation Area Westborough

A fairly easy 4 mile hike by George H Nichols Reservoir / Stump Pond. This is a pretty area with woods and water views. We will meet at the Veterans Freedom Park in Westborough.
Total elevation gain: 150 feet.
Tortoise time time: 2.5 hours
Pace: Moderate to slow
Terrain: Some small, not very steep ups and downs. Lots of dirt path. Some ROUGH FOOTING with roots and rocks on one stretch of the hike.

Veterans Freedom Park in Westboro. Use the link provided. Parking lot is at the end of the entrance road next to the tennis court.
Clothing and Gear
Please wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots.
Sunscreen and insect repellent may be needed.
Dress in layers.
Bring water and maybe a snack.
Some participants may want to bring trekking poles.

Policies
Please arrive early. We will leave promptly at 1:00 PM. Latecomers will be left behind.
No dogs.
We will hike at the pace of the slowest hiker.
This hike is contingent on good weather and is subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather.
