IMPORTANT! BRING WATER!
If you do not have a water bottle, you will not be permitted to join us.

Ashland Reservoir Trail in Ashland State Park is a scenic, easygoing hike. The trail skirts around the edge of the reservoir through woods and over the Ashland Dam. The crossing of the dam is a highlight of the hike with a lovely vista of the reservoir and surrounding forest.

BRING WATER.

The trail is about 3.5 miles. We will hike at our usual Tortoise pace, slow and steady.
Please dress in layers and wear decent footwear! Bug spray and a hat might be a good idea. I always use hiking poles.
Kids welcome. Please do not add them as guests, but mention in the comments.

BRING WATER.

There is an $8 parking fee for Mass residents, unless you have the parking pass. If you want to avoid this, you can park in the back lot at the Ashland Community Center (162 W Union St, Ashland, MA 01721) and walk into the park. More info about parking, passes and a trail map HERE.

Be on time and ready to leave from the parking lot at 10 AM. If you are delayed please TEXT me on 720-273-3594.

Tortoises roam free (and always will!) but MeetUp still charges me a fee. If you’d like to help out here’s where you can send a donation:
